WPF Controls and Layout

Presentation Abstract:

As a part of our commitment to the WPF/Silverlight user group, we will be conducting a series of presentations to cover the key fundamentals of WPF programming. We started this by an introduction to WPF in September. This month, Jeff will be kicking off the detailed series by an overview of WPF controls. Content Presenters such as StackPanel or Grid, Listviews, ListBoxes with custom templates are just a few to mention. This presentation is based on Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and .NET framework 3.5 SP1.

Presenter Bio:

Jeff Hart has been developing for more decades than he cares to admit. As the 'alpha geek' for Vanishing Clouds, Jeff spends his days fighting system admin dragons but his nights still belong to development. His current passions include applying TDD and generational methods to n-tier architectures. For the past several years Jeff has been active on OCVBUG/OCDOTNET’s board. He holds a number of different Microsoft certificates including MCSD and MCSE just to name a few.
