Maintains, designs, modifies, develops, writes, tests and implements high quality enterprise software applications. Assignments are managed using a full systems development life cycle approach. Types of assignments can include maintenance projects, new development, and level 3 customer support.

Responsibilities

• Maintains legacy client/server applications written in Visual Basic 6.
• Serves as a strong technical resource for product software development.
• Develops database scripts to accomplish complex data management tasks.
• Performs unit testing and debugging of application components.
• Provides level 3 support to resolve customer issues.
• Participates in design of application components (including user interfaces and back-end processing) and associated data models.
• Responsible for multiple concurrent development assignments.
• Performs other technical duties in the development and implementation of customer systems.
• Accountable for delivery of assigned tasks within preset schedules and timelines.
• Collaborates with QA, Product Management, Account Management, Professional Services and Contract
• Services organizations to deliver enterprise class software solutions.
• Develops software using industry standard programming techniques.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Visual Basic 6, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Strong development skills in Oracle and SQL Server (non-administration) including writing complex stored procedures, functional triggers, and queries.
• Familiarity with TOAD, Test Track, Citrix, Visual Source Safe a plus.
• Good team player with ability to work both within a team and independently.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate or contract administration a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience required.
• B.S. in Computer Science or other related field.
