Job description:
 
Our client, a world-wide leader in Financial Services, wants to hire a Senior .NET Applications Web Developer  
for a full-time, long-term contract or perm job at their West Los Angeles offices. This is a well-known, highly respected  
"Blue Chip", Fortune-listed company.   You'll have a plush office and spectacular view. You'll work with a great team of people  
and your contributions will be valued and rewarded! 

Responsibilities: 
Responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of data processing systems used to  
support New Business Initiatives in a multi-platform environment.
Work with management to ensure that applications integrate with the enterprise-wide application architecture.
Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
Read manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs that meet user requirements.
Develop, debug, and interactive programs based on application specifications.
Perform unit, system and regression testing.
Analyze, review, and alter programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Assist users in solving operating problems.
Develop and enhance web base applications.
Must understanding programming patterns to effectively design systems.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Client/Server application development. (i.e., COM/DOM/.NET)
Internet/Web application development. (.NET)
Javascript, SQL, Microsoft Operating System platform, Microsoft Office products,  
Visual Microsoft .Net Framework (C#, VB, Web Services), and debugging tools.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience with C/C++, and Crystal Reports a plus.
