Web Programmer

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Program web pages
• Migrate legacy ASP applications to ASP.NET

Qualifications:

·        BS degree (or equivalent)

·        2 to 3 years of hands on web-based software development

·        2 to 3 years of ASP.NET development in C#

·        Experience with CSS, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, classic ASP, XML / XSL, and best practices techniques.

·        Experience with database design and coding with Microsoft SQL Server 2000; experience with SQL 2005 a plus.

·        Experience working with enterprise-wide web-based applications

·        Demonstrated ability to meet commitments in an integrated team environment

·        Possession of excellent critical thinking and analytical skills

·        Security best practices experience and knowledge of how to prevent attacks on public websites a plus

·        Experience with Internationalization and Localization implementation a plus

·        Understanding of social sites including Facebook, MySpace, SecondLife, a plus

·        Design and graphic layout knowledge a plus.
