In this position, you will be responsible for architecture, design, development and implementation of software solutions in a team-oriented environment. You will need to be expert in the very latest in software and development technology from Microsoft and others. You will be leading development with the latest software and GIS technology. Working with clients and overseeing the work of team members will be an important part of your success.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Architecture (5%)
• Technical Design (20%)
• Development (35%)
• Lead and Review Development Team Work (20%)
• Working with Clients (20%)

The ideal candidate will have extensive software engineering background and experience, including architecting and developing software with Microsoft .NET technologies and other programming languages. Experience should include working with clients to develop requirements and design specifications, and overseeing system development and deployment. GIS development experience is a big plus.

Required Qualifications:
• BSCS or Engineering degree
• 5+ years of quality software development experience
• Expert in Microsoft .NET, C#, and distributed computing architectures (.Net 2.0 experience is a plus)
• Strong SQL knowledge, Oracle and SQL server
• Strong knowledge of Internet technologies including ASP.NET and Web Services
• Excellent design and problem solving skills at an architectural and detail level
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
• Self motivated and a can-do attitude

Desired Experience:
• GIS software development
• ESRI ArcObjects, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcGIS
