Job Description: This full-time position is a core member of the risk software development team and will work on a new, user-friendly C#/.NET framework for delivery of analytical tools to the rest of the firm. You will design, develop and maintain this framework and assist our analysts in integrating their tools with the framework. The position is based in Irvine, CA. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

§     Designing and developing database-driven applications using C#, ASP .NET and SQL.

§     Designing and developing ASP.NET based graphical user interfaces for quantitative risk analysis tools.

§     Working with the Risk Management team to integrate proprietary analytics into the new framework.

§     Participating in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, system design and specifications, hands-on development, testing, and deployment.

Job Requirements:

This position calls for a disciplined, detail-oriented and hands-on individual. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to not only execute but be part of the design process as well.  Additional requirements include:

§         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.

§         Experience in developing multi-tier database-driven applications.

§         Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.

§         Familiarity with SQL.

§         Experience with MS SQL Server and analytical software a plus.

§         Two to five years of programming experience. 

There will be a test administered to assess technology and problem-solving skills during the interview process.  The successful candidate will be encouraged to obtain company-sponsored certifications in both technology and finance.
