WebVisible’s service suite includes local search marketing, locally-targeted banner advertising, fixed placement ads, profile and landing page technologies, and call-related services packages.  All products are privately branded and sold by a growing list of resellers in the yellow pages, newspaper, online marketing and other industries.

Position Overview:

The Senior Software Engineer/Architect position will be a senior member of an engineering team that is responsible for building WebVisible’s core software products.  These applications are mission critical applications that drive revenue for the company and are critical to the overall success of the enterprise.  The Senior Software Engineer/Architect will use various development environments and languages to build components of the application that meet requirements, adhere to schedules, and are of the highest quality.  The position requires a level of creativity in finding efficient, scalable, and cost effective solutions to complex business problems, and transforming those solutions into real-world web based systems.

Requirements & Experience:

• Experience as a software engineer building mission critical production applications
• Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
• Fluency in C# and/or C++
• Several years developing web-based applications
• Expertise in designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Strong understanding of OO and design patterns
• Expertise in the .NET application framework
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or other relational databases
• Experience with on-line search marketing and advertising a plus
• Excellent overall communication skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
